The Upper West Side is host to a number of great attractions and
is the cultural heart of Manhattan. Among the many attractions are:
Lincoln Center for the Performing
Arts, the Metropolitan Opera
House, the New
York City Ballet, the New York
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lincoln
Center Theatre, The Juilliard
School, Fordham University,

Young families are a quite common as the neighborhood's good schools,
convenient parks and the plentiful shops and retailers. There is
a wonderful mix of cultures and ages all with attitude and lots
of personality.
The neighborhood has locals that have never been afraid to speak
up and act on the condition of their community.
Broadway legends like Zabar's
at 81st and Fairway at 74th as well as Gracious
Home on 67th, Balducci's
on 66th Street and two monster Barnes
& Noble at 66th and 83rd Streets are now side by side with the
old neighborhood favorites - undeniably adding to the community's
patchwork.
There's no dearth of restaurants -including those with kid's menus.
An overabundance of health clubs, trendy bars and one-of-a-kind
boutiques. |
